Volleyball Coordinators and Coaches,
We would like to invite you to an informational meeting that will take place on Thursday, May 11 from 6:30pm – 8pm at the Springdale Community Center (11999 Lawnview Ave Springdale, OH 45246) in rooms Springdale 1 and 2. The topic of the meeting will be the Fall 2017 Cincinnati Premier Youth Volleyball League season. We hope that you or someone from your organization is able to attend this important meeting! We have reached out to organizations that joined us for our inaugural fall 2016 and spring 2017 seasons as well as others in the Cincinnati volleyball community.
We launched the CPYVL in the summer of 2016 to fill a void in the Greater Cincinnati area by providing a community-based youth volleyball league for kids in grades 3-8. We provide league management, a full-featured web site, referee assignment, and provide a 10 game season schedule and single elimination tournament for $85 per team. You provide the teams, a home gym for 5 games per team, and pay the referee at each match. The goal is to provide opportunities for kids to play volleyball with friends in their community and grow their love of the sport. During our inaugural season we had teams from the following communities join us: Edgewood, Fairview-Clifton, Glendale, Hamilton, Indian Hill, Kings, Lakota, Little Miami, Loveland, Oak Hills, Seven Hills School, Waldorf School, and White Oak. We hope to significantly grow our league this fall to provide less travel for recreational teams and more diverse competition for athletic teams.
Here is a brief list of agenda items:
- CPYVL Overview – who we are and what we do
- Proposed timeline for the Fall 2017 season
